AXON Synchronicity v10.7.3 Product Release Notes

Protochips is excited to introduce AXON Synchronicity v10.7.3 which brings a variety of new features, improvements, and bug fixes to the AXON software package for all AXON users. Any users running a prior version of AXON Synchronicity with an active license are eligible for this free update.

What is new in Version 10.7.3

What is improved:

- - Improved synchronization of electrochemistry data as an independent data stream. Supports full data resolution, regardless of the image update rate.
  - Significantly improved runtime performance on very large collections.
  - Improved detection of Single Captured images with the Gatan K2® camera.
  - Improved microscope service communication to reduce error timeouts on older JEOL TEMs.

What is fixed:

- - Fixed the “Not Responding” notification when initiating a Session.
  - Fixed units for Scan Rate and Period in electrochemistry metadata.
  - Fixed FFT crosshair colors matching plotted lines.

AXON Studio v10.7.3 Product Release Notes

Protochips is excited to introduce AXON Studio v10.7.3, which brings a variety of new features, improvements, and bug fixes to the AXON software package. Any users running a prior version of AXON Studio with an active license are eligible for this free update.

What is new in Version 10.7.3

What is new:

- - Direct Import function for Gatan *.dm4 files. Open images and in situ image sequences recorded by DigitalMicrograph® directly within AXON Studio.
  - Post-session drift correction. Create drift corrected collections of Raw images captured with AXON Synchronicity; which intelligently manages microscope, imaging, and position changes.
  - Microsoft Store now supported. Install and update AXON Studio directly through the Microsoft Store. Protochips Success Community download still supported.
  - Collapse Timeline feature to scrub and analyze data with pauses in the continuous images or from separate sessions.
  - New option to keep metadata when deleting images.

What is improved:

- - Improved data plotting of electrochemistry data in the Timeline and Data View. AXON Studio can plot and publish at full data resolution, regardless of the image update rate.
  - Significantly improved runtime performance on very large collections.
  - Improved activation process, enabling new users to activate directly in the application rather than logging into the Protochips Success Community.
  - Improved layout of the Filter panel, enabling filter selections from image metadata panel.
  - Improved Timeline layout, linking data types to Timeline rows through color coordination.
  - Improved “Discover Libraries” load time on larger libraries.

What’s Fixed:

- - Fixed the “Not Responding” notification when opening extremely large collections and improved the progress indicator.
  - Fixed units for Scan Rate and Period in electrochemistry metadata.
  - Libraries no longer collapse in the Library View when a user creates a new collection.
  - Fixed issue where missing Notes could prevent collections from being merged.
  - Fixed FFT crosshair colors matching plotted lines.
  - Fixed crash that could arise when plotting very large collections.
  - Fixed max cumulative dose indicator to show “Unknown” vs. “0” Dose when calculating values.
