Event Overview
Triton AX is the world’s first liquid cell for TEM, providing temperatures of -50 °C up to 300 °C simultaneous with electrochemical capabilities. With its capabilities already demonstrated in peer-reviewed research, Triton AX is quickly becoming invaluable for understanding extreme-temperature electrochemistry and battery-related applications. Hosted at the Ernst Ruska-Centre (ER-C) in Jülich, an early adopter of the Triton AX system, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to experience the system.
The program will include two live demonstrations, innovation updates by Protochips and talks by invited scientific speakers, who will share their research, experiences, and perspectives on liquid cell in situ TEM. Throughout the workshop, ample time will be dedicated to discussion, questions, networking, and exchanging ideas with fellow researchers, Protochips specialists, and the ER-C community.
This Protochips workshop is designed to be an engaging event with a focus on showcasing the capabilities of Triton AX, exploring advanced in situ TEM workflows, and creating opportunities for direct interaction between attendees, ER-C researchers, and the Protochips team. Participation is free of charge, but registration is required.

- Shuttle transportation between the designated hotel and FZJ Jülich during the workshop
- Support with hotel arrangements through pre-arranged options (hotel costs are covered by attendees)

Please note: Participation in the workshop is free of charge. Attendees are responsible for their own travel expenses to and from Jülich, as well as accommodation costs.
