A big thank you to everyone who joined us at the Protochips User Meeting & In Situ Academy 2026 at Utrecht University!
Over three inspiring days, it was fantastic to see such a strong community come together to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and explore the latest developments in in situ TEM. From engaging presentations and hands-on sessions to insightful discussions and new collaborations, the energy throughout the event was truly motivating.
We are especially grateful to all speakers, contributors, and attendees who made this event such a success. Thank you, Dr. Matthew Lindley, Dr. Jessi van der Hoeven, Dr. Vesna Srot, Dr. Nathaly, and Dr. Di Wang, for your insightful presentations.
We want to give special thanks to the great people at Utrecht University, Savannah Turner, Chris Schneijdenberg, Erik Betz-Güttner, and Stuart Howes for lending us a space to hold such a wonderful event. And a big round of applause as well for our own Nynke Krans and Daniel Frank for curating and presenting content, drawing on their years of experience, to our community in order to help make everyone more confident and successful!
Looking forward to continuing the conversations and seeing how these connections and ideas evolve in the future!
