Ben Jacobs

Dr. Ben Jacobs is the product manager at Protochips, where he oversees all product lines. He has worked for Protochips since 2010 starting as an applications scientist, and then the applications manager, before becoming the product manager. He obtained his PhD in electrical engineering from Michigan State University, and studied the structural and electronic properties of semiconducting nanowires, including gallium nitride, and carbon nanotubes. His postdoctoral work was done at Sandia National Labs in Livermore, CA, where he worked with porous metals for hydrogen storage applications.
