Royal Belgian Society for Microscopy Meeting featuring Protochips' Madeline Dukes as plenary speaker
A one-day microscopy conference by the Royal Belgian Society of Microscopy (RBSM) will be held on September 9, 2019 in UCLouvain. The topic of this conference is focused on quantitative microscopy for the life science and material science fields. Indeed, driven by technical advances and a surge in image informatics, microscopy has now left the anecdotical, descriptive era and has matured into a quantitative discipline. This is true for both the life science and the material science fields, and the variety of microscopy technologies that are utilised therein. This conference aims to highlight the most recent advances in the field with particular emphasis on intelligent, adaptive microscopy, multimodal imaging and deep learning. Two parallel sessions focusing on materials and life sciences will be organized
