The WEM event is a landmark initiative, aiming to foster a supportive and inclusive community for women in microscopy. By addressing unique challenges, providing networking opportunities, and highlighting role models, the event will contribute to a more diverse and innovative field.
Following the tradition of the ‘Dreiländertagung’, the Austrian, German, and Swiss Societies for Electron Microscopy (ASEM, DGE, SSOM) are excited to set the stage for vibrant scientific exchange and innovation sparked by the passion for science. We are expecting over 1,000 participants from around the globe, making this a truly international celebration of microscopy.
The International Workshop on Advanced and In Situ Microscopies of Functional Nanomaterials and Devices (IAMNano) 2025 will be held in at Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden, from August 20th to 22nd, 2025. IAMNano serves as a venue for researchers and other specialists in different areas of microscopy, materials science, and materials engineering to discuss and exchange their latest findings and ideas with each other. It was first held in Krakow, Poland (2012), and subsequent workshops were hosted in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (2014), Hamburg, Germany (2015), Port Elizabeth, South Africa (2016), Singapore (2017), Hamburg, Germany (2018), Düsseldorf, Germany (2019) and Matsue, Japan (2023). This year’s IAMNano will be the 9th in the series. In my experience this workshop always provides an excellent opportunity to move the field forward, promoting scientific advances and international collaboration in a congenial atmosphere.
The M&M 2025 conference is the largest scientific meeting and gathering of microscopy and microanalysis professionals, academics, technicians, students, and exhibitors in the world. Microscopy & Microanalysis will provide a forum for the presentation and discussion of a wide range of microscopy and microanalysis techniques and their application to the biological and physical sciences.
The Microscience Microscopy Congress is back for 2025! One of the biggest events of its kind in Europe, mmc2025 incorporating EMAG 2025 will bring you the very best in microscopy, imaging and cytometry from across the globe. With six parallel conference sessions, a world-class exhibition, workshops, satellite meetings, an international Imaging Competition and more, it is simply the place to be for anyone who uses a microscope for work, study or pleasure.
The 29th North American Meeting of the North American Catalysis Society (NAM29) will bring together academic and industrial researchers from around the world to share the latest research on catalysis science and technology.
The Quantitative Electron Microscopy School will be held during two weeks, from May 11th to 23rd 2025 in Port Barcares, in between Etang de Leucate and Mediterranean sea! Protochips will attend this year and help give 2 demonstrations on the Atmosphere AX and the Poseidon AX together with the team from Université Paris Cité!
Join us in Edinburgh in May 2025 for this edition of the Faraday Discussion series. The Faraday Discussions are unique international discussion meetings that address current and emerging topics at the forefront of the physical sciences. This meeting is for established and early-career scientists, postgraduate students and industrial researchers working on various aspects of biomineralization research. It will provide an ideal forum for cross-fertilisation of ideas and understanding between the distinct but adjacent communities working in this exciting field.
The 5th International Workshop of In situ Electron Microscopy highlights the latest advancements in in situ and in operando electron microscopy, where materials and processes are observed in real-time under controlled conditions at the atomic or nanoscale.
