What an amazing experience the Operando VIII conference was this week, held in Asilomar, California. With a focus on operando spectroscopy techniques for catalysis research, this time they integrated some wonderful talks surrounding in-situ TEM and explored the complementary nature between the two styles of analysis. Our product manager, Jennifer McConnell, presented a poster showing Triton for electrochemical measurements in the TEM, as well as discussed our cell for the Synchrotron for complementary electrochemical analysis.
The conference grounds were beautiful, located right next to the shore of the Pacific Ocean, and were a peaceful location for networking with many accomplished researchers and making new friends. A big round of applause to the organizers from SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, as the entire event ran flawlessly, and the quality of talks was excellent.
