Poseidon E-chips are manufactured using durable, amorphous windows capable of providing a strong barrier for containing liquid, with minimum scatter to the beam. Integrated spacers are made using state-of-the-art semiconductor lithographic techniques, providing patterns that both channel the liquid flow as well as set the liquid layer thickness between two E-chips.
